Jessica María Umaña Solís was crowned as the most beautiful woman of Costa Rica last March 27, 2009 at the The Auditorio del Museo de los Niños, San José de Costa Rica, Costa Rica.
Jessica is 21 years old and she stands 5′9″. She is from Morovia and represent Distrito Capital. She also won the “Best in Swimsuit” and “Miss Congeniality” award. She will represent the country for the Miss Continente Americano 2009, Reina Hispanoamericana 2009, and Miss Universe 2009.
